Introduction

A short drive just out of Nairobi’s central business district is the Nairobi National Park with open grass plains and a backdrop of the city’s skyline, you can spot the endangered black rhino, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes and diverse bird life with over 400 species recorded. After the game drive at the park, you then visit the Giraffe Center at Karen. Later lunch with be provided at the Carnivore Restaurant adjacent to the park.

Day 1

Nairobi National Park

On the outskirts of one of the busiest cities in Africa, Nairobi National Park is a fantastic park to visit. Here you'll almost certainly see lions and rhinos, as well as giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, hippos and crocodiles. The park's astonishing bird list has more than 500 recorded species. Seeing tall city buildings not far away on the horizon only adds to the experience.

Activities Day 1

Early Morning

Early pick up at 0630hrs by our driver tour guide, drive to Nairobi National Park, registration at the KWS gate and start the game drive. Spot the endangered black rhino, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes and diverse birdlife with over 400 species recorded.

Morning

At 1100hrs visit the Giraffe Center at Karen.

Afternoon

Take a break in your day by enjoying lunch with us at a local restaurant in Nairobi, later a drop off at your preferred location
